Robyn Cohen is delighted to make her Dezart debut! She was last seen in Palm Springs in ROMANCE, ROMANCE at CVRep directed by Ron Celona (DTL winner – Best Supporting Actress). Around the country, she’s performed in THE PRISONER OF SECOND AVENUE, THE EXONERATED (both opposite Jeff Goldblum), the west coast premiere of Neil Labute’s THE SHAPE OF THINGS, NO WAY AROUND BUT THROUGH (starring Melanie Griffith), off-Broadway in THE FRENCH WAITRESS, PROOF (directed by Luke Yankee), RIGOLETTO, THE GRAND TOUR (with direction by Jerry Herman) and the west coast premiere of THE FATHER (Best Supporting Actress nomination.) Additional performances include: The Actors Theatre of Louisville, Lincoln Center, The Geffen Playhouse, The Ford’s Theater (D.C.), Goodspeed Opera House, Long Beach Playhouse, Idaho Shakespeare, Laguna Playhouse, North Coast Rep., Paper Mill Playhouse, and the National Tour of CABARET to name a few. Robyn is an award-winning theatre director, acting teacher and founder of The Cohen Acting Studio. She’s helmed such productions as THE ELEPHANT MAN, FOOL FOR LOVE, A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE and DROWNING at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. She’s appeared in over 55 national commercials and is a contributing writer to John Jory’s handbook, TIPS ON AUDITIONING: IDEAS FOR ACTORS. Training: The Juilliard School – BFA.
